The GT PAC Parent Symposium is an annual event that is facilitated BY parents, FOR parents. We are looking for parents who would like to present a session for other parents during the event. Private/Charter/Home School GT Test Session

A 5th grade GT testing session is being offered for non-enrolled Fort Bend ISD residents. Fifth graders who receive notification of eligibility for GT services after this testing session will receive directions for applying to the GT Middle School Academy. 2022 - 2023 GT Academy Recruitment, Application, and Selection Timeline

GT Mentorship Program informational meetings for current GT high school juniors will take place on campuses throughout January. In addition, parents are invited to attend one of two parent meetings, one offered during the day and one offered in the evening. Pilot Campuses Only

The new year and new semester provide a great opportunity for students to review their 2021-22 GT Learning Plan goals and reflect on their progress to see if they are on target. Based on this reflection, during January, students will revise their action steps (if needed) to reach their goals.

Here are a few questions that may be helpful to ask your child and support their progress toward reaching their goals:

• Are you closer to reaching your goal than you were one week ago?
• Is there anything you want to change about your goal?
• What actions have you taken this week toward achieving your goal?
