IMPACTing our School for Success - Every Person, Every Day
A Message from Mrs. Holloman, Principal
Dear Flyer Families,
Happy Fall!!
We can’t believe the first quarter is almost over! It has been a great start to the year in so many ways: students performed beautifully in the Missoula Children’s Theater production, they are earning full punch cards for all the positive choices they are making and enjoying weekly trips to the prize box, our Student Leaders are doing a fabulous job greeting new students and a large amount of students are showing growth in reading and math! We are very proud of our amazing Flyers!
We also want to thank our PTO and parent/guardian volunteers for all their support in making sure the year started strong. Teachers have commented on how grateful they are for all the classroom support! In addition, thank you for your contribution towards the conference week meal that families are providing. We also want to give a special shout out to our wonderful popcorn day team! Mrs. Mooberry, an amazing PTO member, made them matching Tshirts! Please see the picture below! Thank you all for your help and support. We truly have an amazing community!
Finally, we look forward to welcoming families into our building for Fall Conferences, October 7-11th. Teachers have worked diligently all year in teaching your students and look forward to connecting with every family.
In Partnership,
Pam Holloman
Principal

Set up an e Wallet account for your child: https://bookfairs.scholastic.com/content/fairs/how-ewallet-works.html?fairId=5627313
Just like last year, you are able to put funds directly into your child’s eWallet account! For this fair the types of payment accepted will be credit card and Scholastic eWallets. Please note, no change is provided for eWallet accounts. We will help your child spend the money in their account down, and anything left under $1.00 will be donated to our school library. Also keep in mind that we do have to charge sales tax.
If you open an eWallet account for your child, they will be allowed to come over to the fair to choose books to buy during the school day. If you want them to get something specific, please be sure to send a note to the teacher. Also, please give your child’s classroom teacher a heads up that your child has had an account created. Once the account is created, anyone can add money to it! This might be a good thing to share with grandparents and other family members that are interested in helping!
We need parent volunteers! Join us for this fun event and help us bring book joy to our students. Please reach out to Mrs. Bedell if you have completed the district background check and are able to help out. erin.bedell@d49.org
Thank you, Flyer Families, for your support of our school library! Please also remember that teachers love books, you may wish to buy a book to donate to your child’s classroom. We can help you with that! We look forward to an exciting time in our school library.
