March is an exciting month as we celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Sandoval Academy of Bilingual Education (SABE)! We are incredibly proud of the journey our school has taken over the past decade, and we couldn't have done it without our amazing students, families, and staff.

To commemorate this milestone, we invite you to join us on March 25th for a special ribbon cutting Ceremony as we celebrate our school's achievements and future. Stay tuned for more details on this event!

Additionally, we are hosting Open Houses for prospective families on March 5th and 12th to learn more about our dual language education program. If you know families interested in joining the SABE community, please encourage them to attend and experience firsthand the incredible opportunities we offer.

This year SABE has a special edition t-shirt in celebration of our 10th anniversary. Students that have paid their supply fee will receive a school t-shirt as part of their supplies.

This month's ¡SOMOS SABE! Noche de familia will be held at our new school building. We will be celebrating our 10th anniversary and have our ribbon cutting ceremony. The event will start at 5:30 p.m. We invite all SABE families to join us. Families will be able to tour the new building and join in the celebration. Feel free to invite friends and family that are interested in being part of our SABE Familia.

If your child has been taking part in the before or after school program, please look for a statement and supporting documents on what is due for the first half of the year. Our apologies for not providing this sooner, however, due to staffing shortages, it took us longer than anticipated. There has been a discount applied for the inconvenience. All payments can be made via www.mymealtime.com. If you need your child's student ID number to create an account, please call the school office.

There is the potential for scholarships for any families that are experiencing financial struggles. Please contact Mrs. Rodriguez at jrodriguez@nmsabe.org to apply.

Yes. Students at SABE wear uniforms. The picture shows the uniform options for our school. You may also see this on our school website, https://nmsabe.org/parents/dress-code/ .

Our SABE PTA will also send home information about uniform exchanges.

Students can also wear their school spirit shirt as part of the uniform. Below is a link to purchase school spirit shirts. This purchase is optional for parents.

SABE Casual Dress Friday is a fundraiser for our school. Students can dress casually (school appropriate) by paying $1.

Morning Drop-Off: All students are dropped off in the "Yellow Zone".

Afternoon Pick-Up

• Yellow Zone: Parents of students in Kindergarten - 3rd grade that have no siblings will be picked up in the Yellow Zone. Any students in 3rd grade that have younger siblings, they too will be picked up in the Yellow Zone.
• Blue Zone: Parents of students 4th-8th grade parents will pick up their children in the Blue Zone. If 4th -8th grade students have younger siblings, the younger siblings will be with them ready to be picked up.

SABE provides before and after school care. If you are interested in the care program for your child/ren please submit an application to the school or send it to Mrs. Reyes at careprogram@nmsabe.org.

Program Hours:

• Before School 7:00 - 7:30 a.m.
• After School Program is from 3:15 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

This year there will be a fee for the program. Fee rates are listed in the After & Before School Program Application. If your family is experiencing financial difficulty and you would like to be considered for a scholarship, please contact Mrs. Rodriguez at jrodriguez@nmsabe.org.
