Wass parent-teacher conference sign-up is open to all parents. Conferences will take place on Oct. 10 and 11. If you have multiple children at Wass, I recommend leaving one “open” time period between conferences.

Our goal is that every parent will attend a conference with his/her child’s teacher to learn about his/her progress and goals for the 2024-25 school year.

Conference sign-ups are completed on a first come, first served basis. The registration window will close on Tuesday, October 8 at noon. If you need to sign up for a conference after the deadline, you will need to contact your child's teacher directly. All conferences will be face to face in the teacher’s classrooms.

About Math Kangaroo

Math Kangaroo is an annual international mathematics competition.

Registration Information

• Who Can Register?
  Students in grades 1-12 who reside in the same state as the center's address.

• Registration Fees:

  • Regular registration: $18 (September 15 – December 31, 2024)
  • Late registration: $35 (January 1 – February 1, 2025)
  • Note: No cancellations or refunds are offered after registration.

• Financial Assistance:
  Families facing financial hardship can apply for support by contacting the Math Kangaroo Office at info@mathkangaroo.org with appropriate documentation.

Competition Day Details

• Date: Mar 20, 2025 6:15 PM - 7:45 PM EDT
• Location: Wass Elementary School
  2340 Willard Dr, Troy, MI 48085
• Gifts & Ribbons:
  All registered students will receive mathematical gifts and participation ribbons, which will be distributed by the center manager on competition day. The top 20 in the country and top 3 in the state will receive medals, ribbons, and awards which will be distributed by the center manager in May.
