Come to school dressed like you are 100 years old!

Mr. Melle will be back for Art.

Please remember to send your child with clothes for all weather. We will be outside until it "feels like " 10 degrees. Students need to bring warm layers to enjoy their outside time. Please send your child with a change of clothes, just in case.

We often have indoor recess in the morning but go outside in the afternoon.

This week we have enjoyed having Ms. Legare here for LMR. On Wednesday we read Three Bears in a Boat. Afterwards students designed their own boats that they would want to go on an adventure with. On Thursday we read The Great Fuzz Frenzy. Afterwards students got to design their own Prairie Dogs.

We had a great week of learning and fun in 1st and 2nd grade. This week, in Math, we mastered how to subtract in vertical form and began learning to add 3 numbers. We had LMR this week and we began learning all about the U.S. Symbols – We learned about the Flag, the Liberty Bell, the Bald Eagle, and the Statue of Liberty. We also took a virtual field trip to the Liberty Bell and The Statue of Liberty.

This week we have started working on our poetry presentations!
