The Family "Celebration" Chronicle
April 2024
A Message From The Principal
Greetings Margaretta Middle & High School Families,
As we transition into the month of April, I am thrilled to share some exciting updates and important reminders for all of our families.
First and foremost, I would like to extend a heartfelt congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Reardon along with their incredibly talented students for putting on an outstanding Dinner Theatre event. The dedication and passion displayed by our students was truly outstanding. It was an unforgettable experience for all who attended. Your support and appreciation for the arts is deeply valued.
Additionally, I am extremely proud at the remarkable success of our boys' and girls' basketball teams, who have not only demonstrated exceptional skill but also remarkable sportsmanship throughout the season. Both teams appearing in the regional finals is simply amazing and is a tribute to their hard work, determination, and teamwork. Way to go Polar Bears!
As we enter upon the month of April, it is important to remind our students and families that state testing will begin on Wednesday, April 10th. Attendance during this period is crucial as it ensures that our students have every opportunity to showcase their knowledge and abilities. I urge all families to prioritize attendance and ensure that students are well-rested and prepared for these assessments. Together, we can support our students in achieving their fullest potential.
Lastly, I encourage all families to stay informed about upcoming events and important updates by regularly checking our school website, Final Forms, and our district's Facebook page. These platforms serve as valuable resources for staying connected with the latest news and happenings within our school community.
As always, I am grateful for your continued support and partnership in fostering a positive and enriching learning environment for our students. Let us make the most of the opportunities that April brings and celebrate the achievements of our school community.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns at 419.684.5351 or at jtheis@margarettaschooldistrict.com.
