We had a great first week. Our staff and students have been hard at work discussing class expectations and becoming familiar with the coursework they will explore this year. We invite our families to come to meet your child's teachers on Monday, August 21st. This is a come and go event!

Last week the campus administration and counselors met with students for our class presentations. This gave students an opportunity to meet our counselors and administrators. We also reviewed our campus procedures along with our expectations for behavior; we reviewed behaviors that may result in serious consequences. Please see the presentation linked below!

During the instructional day all students must be dropped off and picked up at the front of the school. Coaches and sponsors will designate specific drop off and pick up locations for students participating in extracurricular before and after school.

Bus routes are being adjusted!

• We are communicating to students any changes to bus routing.

• Please check the parent portal for most up to date information.

• Students should bring their district issued Bus tag with them from last school year.

• Students are allowed to ride while they wait for the tag to be delivered.

• The provider is working to resolve the Smart Tag notifications, this has been reported to the service provider by NCISD.

• August 20th - Community Event: Faith Family Church 5:00-6:00 PM @ West Fork HS
• August 21st - Staff Meet and Greet from 5:00 - 6:30 PM

*West Fork HS will review all safety protocols throughout the school day.

Work has begun on the first projects with the second phase of West Fork High School being a top priority. West Fork appreciates our community support and the Board of Trustees support to provide excellent facilities for our students. This Bond 2023 program will provide excellent career related and academic learning spaces for the students at West Fork.

Students should bring a lunch or bring $3.25 to purchase lunch each day. Families should visit the NCISD Child Nutrition Page to set up a School Café account and complete the meal application for the 23-24 school year.

**Families may complete the lunch application at any point during the school year. If you have not completed the meal application for the 23-24 school year, please do so today!

You may add funds to your child's lunch account by sending cash with your child or using a credit card to add funds in School Café to your child’s account.

Completing the meal application qualifies students for waived or reduced fees for college applications, dual credit classes, scholarship opportunities, college entrance exams like TSI, SAT, PSAT & AP exams.

Use the Skyward app to check grades, attendance and keep up with you child's progress!

📧West Fork High School will utilize Skyward Message Center and Remind to communicate campus information. Each of these platforms use the email address and/or phone number on file when registration is completed. Staff will use email communication to send grade reports, information about school events, or other communication relative to a class.
