Congratulations to our Falcon Elementary School of Technology! In the previous year, according to the School Performance Framework, Falcon Elementary was on Improvement status with the state of Colorado. As a result, the teachers, staff, and leadership were all committed to ensuring that Falcon Elementary would not remain in that status. Through collective efforts and hard work shown by all of our teachers, we saw such a change! The recent school performance framework showed that Falcon Elementary moved into Performance Status and showed a 12% gain in their performance framework score! Way to go Hawks! And, if FESoT were to show a similar gain again this next year, they would move all of the way to Distinction...you can do this Hawks!

Last year's 3rd through 5th grade Hawks showed their WISDOM on the CMAS assessment. The teachers and staff maintained a high level of INTEGRITY in holding themselves to a high level of accountability to do what was best for their students. Teachers NETWORKED together and collaborated on effective instructional strategies and interventions that would have an impact on achievement. All of our student Hawks and the staff displayed GRIT by working hard and putting forth the effort to show tremendous academic growth. And, the results built higher levels of SELF-CONFIDENCE that we can do this and help our students perform better each and every year.

We are so proud of Hawk Nation and look forward to what they do next. When all of us in the Falcon Elementary Community work together, we know that we can lead our students to high achievement and that FESoT will be on the list of distinguished schools soon! Congratulations Falcon Elementary School; let's keep the celebration going!

In the Falcon Zone we pride ourselves on having the most incredible staff! Barb Morgan (FHS) - Barb has the biggest heart for helping ALL of her students! She is always compassionate and patient and brings out the best in her kids. She is an absolute blessing to have around!

Rachel Roddy (FES) - Rachael is an incredible para who has amazing instinct and insight into how to support ALL students, not just the ones in the SPED program that she works in. She is positive, calm, and caring. Rachael has been a true blessing to Falcon Elementary, the SPED program, and me and my students. I am truly thankful for her dedication and professionalism. We are so happy to have you at FES, Rachael!

Donna Benavidez (BRES) - Incredibly friendly, always in a great mood and so helpful.

Mrs. Ginnetti (BRES) - We would like to recognize Mrs. Ginnetti for her amazing patience, and kindness that she has shown our daughter. Our daughter has cancer and has had a really hard time adjusting to school. Mrs. Ginnetti has been so supportive and has helped brainstorm modifications for our daughter to make things easier and to help support her mental well-being. We couldn't ask for a better, more responsive teacher than Mrs. Ginnetti. Thank you!
