About Snowflake
Snowflake is a Drug and Alcohol Prevention Program for seventh-graders on Friday, February 9. This is a LATE ARRIVAL DAY for seventh-graders ONLY. Seventh-grade students will participate in a drug and alcohol prevention program in conjunction with representatives from the Stevenson High School student body (including members of Catalyst, FMP, and SPT). Snowflake is a program designed with activities specifically focused on the needs of seventh grade students. It seeks to bring youth, community professionals, and educators together to develop a trusting relationship and to provide a framework for understanding one’s self and others. The program strives to facilitate discussion and interaction among students, which lead to valuable decision- making skills, prevention education, community advocacy, leadership and how to handle peer pressure. Snowflake is a program to help healthy kids STAY healthy.
