Aledo ISD is excited to be launching a new, redesigned website on Friday, September 6! As with any new launch or changeover, we're hoping it all goes smoothly but know that there can be bumps along the way, so we wanted to give you a heads up in case you find that all or parts of the Aledo ISD website aren't functioning properly on Friday or in the next few days! This will also affect the functionality of our Aledo ISD app for a few days.

Our website will still be www.aledoisd.org but there may be some bookmarks that you have saved that you'll need to re-link. You may also see some areas that are under construction: don't worry - we're working to get those up and running as quickly as we can!

If you do see any issues with the website, broken links or cannot find something, please let us know by emailing communications@aledoisd.org. Thank you for your help and feedback!

Harvest of the Month - Squash!

The Aledo ISD Child Nutrition department is partnering with Demases Farm out of Boyd, Texas, to provide locally grown squash! Check your school cafeteria for samples and menu items, and try this delicious local farm-fresh product!

Congratulations to Jude McDonald for earning a UIL GOLD Medal for being an OUTSTANDING PERFORMER at the 2024 UIL TSSEC Texas State Solo-Ensemble Contest! This is a huge accomplishment for any Texas high school musician. We're proud of you, Jude!

Middle school art students have been busy having fun and making their marks! MMS students designed Graffiti TAGs while AMS students designed Data Portraits where viewers can use a legend to see who likes to sign in the shower, how many friends they would take on vacation, whether they liked cats or dogs and so much more!

The Ladycat volleyball team had a great weekend last weekend, finishing the Arlington Classic Tournament as CHAMPS!

On Day 2, Aledo beat Burleson 25-15, 25-14, 25-18 and beat Martin 25-15, 25-19, 25-23. Junior Alyssa Todd was named tournament MVP and senior Haley Lowe was named to the All-Tournament Team. It was a great weekend to be a Ladycat!

The Aledo ISD Technology team was busy this summer completing much-needed network updates to many of our buildings, including the Aledo Learning Center, Daniel Ninth Grade, AISD Early Childhood Academy, Walsh Elementary, and the Admin, Auxiliary, and Technology and Police buildings. Even if these are not projects that you can see, these are a big part of Aledo Bond 2023!
