Seawell Peek At the Week

Seawell Elementary School Updates!
Greetings Seawell Seahawks!!! We are well on our way to an amazing 2024-25 school year. First, a sincere thank you for all of the warm words of support, cards and flowers in acknowledgement of my mother's recent passing.
As many of you know this is the time of year when students are both reviewing and participating in a variety of assessments in order for teachers to design instruction that best meets the needs of our learners. Previous data is being reviewed by PLT's (Professional Learning Teams) and they are working together in order to analyze, plan and design learning experiences for your child. Some data is readily available in various digital and paper forms and shared during the workdays while new data will be collected in the upcoming weeks. Note that we have already begun BOY (Beginning of Year) assessments in order to inform instruction.
I will begin sharing information in the Classroom Corner section of our weekly newsletter to both educate and update regarding assessments, educational acronyms, etc. to keep you up to speed:)
