Due to an increasing need for math practice, starting this week, we are adding high school math help sessions.

TUESDAYS at 4:00 - Algebra II and Precalculus

WEDNESDAYS at 2:00 - Algebra and Geometry

We are now a month into school and we would love to hear from you. On Wednesday, October 7th at 4 pm we will have a zoom session for our parents.


We heavily depend on our parents' feedback to let us know what is working for you and what may not be working for you. This is also a great time to ask any questions that you might have.

Mayor of Burlington, Steve Sexton, Speaks to Career Exploration Students

A huge thank you to Steve Sexton, Academy parent of students Trevor and Megan, for taking the time to speak to the Career Exploration students this past week. Mr. Sexton spoke to the students about the importance of listening to others and enjoying your work.

Form Student Study Groups

Studying with peers can be very beneficial for students! If possible, contact other students and arrange a regular study group time. Some students are already doing this and finding it very successful! There are multiple programs available for student communication (Zoom, Discord, etc.)

Benefits : reveals gaps in understanding, increases confidence in the material, gives students a new perspective on the material, and makes learning the material more engaging.

Kahoot It! For a Family Trivia Game, Studying, or Topics of Interest

Skagit Academy teachers have been using Kahoot in the classroom, but you can use it at home too! Collect trivia about your family and create a fun game for family night. There are many Kahoot games to choose from or you can make your own, based on any topic. Use it to study geography or brush up on your Star Wars trivia!
