Student Rallies Kicked Off the School Year!
Our Students are SOARing!
267 positive referrals have been written by various adults in our buildings for students in grades 6-8 since the first day of school on August 22nd. Positive referrals are written when students choose to show up, own it, act for others, or rally together. Keep Soaring, BFMS and Gereau students!

Fall Fundraising
Your student received their fundraising packet from their 4th period teacher on Sept. 24th. Orders can be taken from the brochure and paper form and/or online. To participate online, you must first register your student by going to forfundsonline.com using the school code (70962). Be sure to use email and social media to get friends and family to shop online. All online orders will ship directly to the customer. Be sure to turn in all orders by October 9th! Just selling 8 items allows your child to be excused from class to attend the "Mega Party" and there are chances for cash prizes too!
*Profits from this fundraiser will be used for student and school activities and incentives*

Help Save the Next Girl
Offered to 6th graders. Please see Mrs. Daphne Pugh in the East Building if you are interested in joining this club. In February of 2017, Benjamin Franklin Middle School joined Help Save The Next Girl, which is a non-profit organization founded by Dan and Jill Harrington. We have become active members in spreading information, promoting personal safety, and preventing violence against young women in Franklin County, the surrounding counties, and nationwide. We will share stories, and current events, and listen to guest speakers such as local law enforcement. The girls will be made aware of the dangers that come with internet use, improper texting, and not buddying up!
