Greetings Evergreen Families,

November has arrived. This is the month of giving thanks and the perfect time to say that we are beyond thankful for our Evergreen families.

If you have not done so, please review the online Federal Impact Aid Forms available through the Home Access Center (HAC). Once logged in, directions to access the online Impact Aid form can be found HERE. A video with instructions is available HERE. The form can now be accessed in Spanish by clicking on the Globe in the top right-hand corner once the form has been started. The deadline for the online submission of Federal Impact Aid Survey forms is Friday, November 15, 2024.

Evergreen's PTO is holding another spirit wear sale through Nov. 20th: www.marktapparel.com/stores/evergreen A big thank you to our PTO for hosting the annual TURKEY TROT. It was so much fun!!!! The top runners were; Eli Thurber 42 laps and Paige Roney 25. laps

SMCPS schools are closed Nov. 11th to honor our Veterans. Thank you for your services and sacrifices.

SCHOOLWIDE GOAL: TEACHING STUDENTS ABOUT ZONES OF REGULATIONS:

The Zones of Regulation is a tool used to help students identify and communicate how they are feeling in a healthy way. Over the next two weeks, we are going to review two out of the four phases of alertness and emotion.

The Zones can teach children how to effectively use different tools and techniques to move throughout the zones.

The goals are for children to be able to:

Identify how they are feeling and corresponding ZONE
Use a tool-box system that works for you and your child that will help them stay calm during situations that are challenging for them.

**We are sharing with the goal of building common language between school and home.
