IUSD Job Fair- IUSD is hosting a job fair on Thursday, September 28 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Learning Center (3387 Barranca Pkwy, Irvine) in Room 1.

The District and our school is hiring:

• Instructional Assistants
• PE Paraprofessionals
• Nutrition Services Staff
• Media Technicians
• SLPA and COTA Positions

We offer paid sick, holiday and vacation! If you have a resume, bring it with you but it is not required.

PTSA Dine Out- Join PTSA on Thursday, September 28th at El Pollo Loco and support IVA PTSA! Bring this flyer with you and 20% of your purchase will be donated to PTSA.

Ralphs Rewards Program-This program makes fundraising easy by donating to local organizations based on the shopping you do every day. Once you link your Card to San Joaquin Creekside PTSA, all you have to do is shop at Ralphs and swipe your Shopper’s Card. All participants should visit https://www.ralphs.com. Once logged into their Ralphs account they can search for SAN JOAQUIN CREEKSIDE PTSA either by name or US468 and then click Enroll. New users will need to create an account which requires some basic information, a valid email address and a rewards card.

Mandatorial Office Hours begin Monday, September 18th

Mandatorials will start this Monday, September 18. All students are encouraged to attend Office Hours when they have questions or need additional support. However, as an intervention, some students may be required to attend Monday Office Hours (Mandatorial) at their teachers’ request. If your student is referred for these mandatory Monday Office Hours by their teacher, you will receive email notification from both the teacher and IVA Staff. Your student must attend Mandatorial for that period each week until you receive notification that it is no longer required. Students who do not attend their required Mandatorial will be marked absent. Please partner with us in helping your student to be successful this semester.

IUSD Family Counseling Center- Under the Department of Mental Health & Wellness, the IUSD Family Counseling Center offers a multidisciplinary approach to mental health and support and wellness for children, adolescents, and their families. Click HERE for more information.

Operation School Bell® | Assistance League – Irvine

IVA Club Drive: If you are interested in joining an IVA Club, please join us for the Club Drive event this upcoming Monday, 9/25!! Presidents from various clubs will be on Zoom to welcome new members. YAT will also be there to give information out about their YAT club! The Club Drive will take place on September 25th at 1:00pm, and you can access the Zoom meeting through this link. Here are our clubs that will be at our Club Drive. Service Academy Information Night- The office of Congresswoman Katie Porter is hosting a service academy informational night on Tuesday, September 26th at 4:00 – 5:30 PM Pacific. There will be representatives from each of the academies along with an NROTC Marine full ride scholarship coordinator presenting and answering questions. To register click HERE.

AP Exam Registration- All San Joaquin High School students in grades ten through twelve may register for an AP exam based on space and availability. Students in grades nine and below that are not concurrently enrolled in the IUSD AP course for the exam requested must receive approval from the IUSD District Office AP Early Access Exam Committee before registering for an exam. Students may not take two exams on the same day at different school locations. The window to register is Oct. 16-30 from 1:00pm-4:15pm at Creekside Education Center.
