Dear Steck Families,

School registration for next year is now open. Please register your child by May 17 or let us know if your child will not attend Steck next year.

Tomorrow is the Steck PTA Fun Run! This is always a great community event that benefits our PTA and school. Thank you to the PTA, volunteers, and participants for making this a wonderful event. I hope to see you there!

Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week! Thanks to the Steck PTA for providing treats and gifts to our teachers. Check out this information for ways you can honor Steck Staff next week.

School Supply Kit Donations

Each year we support Steck families in need with school supply kits. If you are interested in helping a family in need with back to school materials, please complete this form by Friday, May 17.

Steck yearbooks are ordered at the time of school pictures. Each year we have a limited number of extra yearbooks available for purchase. If interested in purchasing a yearbook, please read more here.

Support our Steck Chorus at Fine Arts Fest!

Check out this flier. This annual festival is the district’s largest event, located at all three high schools, hosting 80 musical performances featuring 9,000 student musicians, and 12,000 pieces of preK-12 artwork by students from all 33 district schools. Enjoy performances and art created by D204 students, and witness the talents of the older students who have progressed through the district’s Fine Arts curricula. IPEF is proud to be able to bring this event free of charge to the IPSD 204 community.

Steck Chorus will be performing at Metea Valley HS at 2:45pm in the auditorium.

Steck Chorus members should arrive at 1:45pm for rehearsal in the Band Room. Please wear your chorus shirt and dark pants/bottoms.

IPSD Elementary Summer Music Camp

Indian Prairie School District 204 offers all students entering 4th, 5th, and 6th grade an opportunity to sign up for a week-long summer music camp. Students will spend their morning singing, dancing, and playing a variety of instruments like xylophones, drums, and ukuleles. On the final day of camp, students will perform their music for their families. There are three different camps; one offered at each of the different high schools. Please pick the location and dates that work best for you.
