Please click here to complete a short form to document your child's permanent daily dismissal plans. It is important to complete the form by Friday, August 23.

All families must complete this form even if you have registered for a bus via the Transportation Department.

The Portal for elementary families will open on Monday, August 26, at which time your child’s new teacher will be noted!

New families should have received their login information via email from our Aspen team. Please check your email for your credentials. All families can contact aspen@mpsd.org if you have any questions accessing the parent portal.

**Extremely Important: Please complete the Student Workflow and Parent Workflow before the start of the school year as this is how we reach you in an emergency.**

GWS will continue to use the PickUp Patrol (PUP) App to help us better manage our dismissal process. PUP allows parents to electronically make daily dismissal changes from a computer or smart phone. Families that have not already registered will receive an email with login information.

With a new transportation system in place, we have a greater number of walkers and bikers at Governor Winslow School. For the safety of all, here are a few reminders:

• Bikers, walkers, and car drop off should arrive to school at 8:35 AM. (Staff will not be on duty until that time.)
• Bikers must walk their bikes on Regis Road and remain on the sidewalk at all times.
• Car line drop off is at the bike rack at 8:35 AM. Students should remain in the car until a staff member signals.
• DO NOT drop off or pick up students on Regis Road or Gotham Hill Drive. Please use the car drop off/pick up line.
• Please be sure walkers and bikers are prepared for inclement weather.

Thank you so much for your attention to our arrival and dismissal at GWS. The safety of our students remains our top priority, and we appreciate your help!

This year, GWS is providing general supplies/materials for every student.

Lunch will be served at all elementary schools this year free of charge.

Kindergarten Playdate

The GWS PTO would like to invite you and your kindergartner to a playdate on Wednesday, August 21, on the new GWS playground. The playgroup has been divided into three sessions. An email was sent with your child's scheduled time. If you did not receive an email please call the school.

Kindergarten Orientation

Kindergarten orientation is Wednesday, September 4, by appointment. You should have received an email with your child's scheduled time. Please call the school if you did not receive an email.

Every parent/guardian that would like to volunteer needs to have an updated CORI form on file.
