All Three Propositions Pass in 2024 SISD Bond
As one of very few districts in North Texas who passed its bond election last night, SISD does not take this victory lightly.
"We are honored to educate the students of Sunnyvale and feel extremely grateful for our community's support in us," Superintendent Matt Kimball said. "We are excited and ready to move forward on bringing these bond projects to life for all Raiders."
Throughout the early voting period, Sunnyvale led Dallas County in voter turnout. Going into election day, Sunnyvale showed a 71% voter turnout.
SISD's school bond elections and VATR-elections have historically been successful because of the hard work of several community members - starting with the commitment of the SISD Board of Trustees and former Superintendent Doug Williams.
"Mr. Williams and our board of trustees built a strong foundation of community trust with their vision for SISD's brighter future," Kimball said. "We wouldn't be where we are without their commitment and hard work."
SISD is also grateful to members of the SISD Long-Term Facilities Team, the SISD Finance Team and other the countless other community volunteers who provided leadership during the campaign.
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE! #RAIDERSRISE
