Dear Families,
We are excited to begin planning for the 2023-24 school year! Please complete the Student Information Form. This provides us with valuable information about your child’s learning style as we begin working on class placement.
The class placement process takes many hours of careful thought and consideration. We always consider the individual child while recognizing that each child is also part of a complex equation. We evaluate learning abilities, class size, social and academic strengths and challenges, diversity, as well as positive and non-constructive relationships to create balanced, high quality learning environments for all students.
We will make every effort to ensure friends are placed in the same class when possible. Rest assured that our child will see friendly and familiar faces when they return to school. Your child’s teacher knows your child well and will place them with their best interests in mind.
You can provide your child with a successful beginning to the school year by responding to their classroom assignment with positive enthusiasm. We can all work together to enhance personal development and provide a positive school climate for all.
Please fill out the student information form by March 31, 2023. Thank you for your understanding as we prepare for next school year.

Dear Montgomery Families,
It's time to start planning for our '23-'24 school year fundraiser! This school year was the first year that our fundraiser was completely run by volunteers with no third party help! Thanks to the support of our school and the generous donations earned by our students, the fundraiser was a success and all of the funds remained in our school. One of the things we learned from this year's fundraiser is that we need help! We can't do another major fundraiser without a few volunteers. Please look at the volunteer positions below and reach out to Elizabeth and Kristy with any questions at mtptovpwaymeans@sycamoreschools.org Volunteers will have the full support and guidance of our VP's. Thank you for your consideration and support!

Upcoming events:
March 29: 9:30am General PTO Meeting. This will be held at the Montgomery Elementary School Cafeteria. Principal Jay Meno and members of the team at the E.H. Greene school will be presenting transitional information for 4th grade students moving to E.H. Greene. This will be an excellent opportunity to meet some of the staff members and ask questions in a smaller setting. More information will be available as the date approaches.
March 31: Cultural Heritage night at Montgomery Elementary. We are fortunate to have such a diverse student body at Montgomery and we are looking for families who are willing to share more about their culture. We are asking that any families interested and willing to provide information or food at a booth during cultural heritage night on March 31st, sign up to make this a memorable event! We will be holding an informational Zoom session in February to provide more details about the event and to answer any questions! Click HERE to view the form
April 28: 6:30 - 7:30 Family Trivia Night. Come ready to flex your knowledge muscles and win lots of prizes! This will be held at the Montgomery Elementary School, in the cafeteria.

Spirit Wear Donations Needed
Operation Give Back wants your spirit-wear.
Spring cleaning or just have too much?? Operation Give Back is collecting gently used spirit wear…Sycamore, UC, OSU, Bengals, FC, Reds etc. Smaller sizes always needed, but will take all sizes. We use these to provide each Sycamore student, receiving a backpack at the School Supply Giveaway, a Sycamore shirt to start the year and our Holiday Store provides child/family member with spirit wear, as well! During the Sweet 16/March Madness event, each OGB child in the after school program gets a shirt to support a local team or team in the Sweet 16. Please drop in bins located at each school, or at Operation Give Back at 10891 Millington Ct, or let Becky Dawson becky5623@aol.com know and I can pick up.
