Week 36 is completed! Seniors had their final day today and concluded the week with tractor day, senior car wash, a prank on Mr. Collier, and senior trip! We are down to the final week next week and will conclude with finals for 7th-11th grade. I am proud of our students, teachers, and staff! Thank you all for a great year so far, now lets finish strong! Join us for graduation Friday May 17th at 7:00pm!

Online Enrollment is now available on your TeacherEase Portal! You can upload your proof of residency and complete your child's enrollment all online! This will safe you much time in the future!

5/17/23 - Students Dismiss @ 12:30

5/17/23 - Graduation @ 7:00pm

It is time for 7th and 11th grade students to get their immunizations for next year. Before entering 8th grade, students will need a Tdap and a meningococcal immunization. Before entering 12th grade, students will need a second meningococcal immunization. Immunizations are due before school starts in the fall. Please send copies to the HS office. Don't wait to make an appointment until August as appointments fill quickly when school gets back in session!

Oak Ridge is a community with a long standing tradition of taking care of one another. I am no different and sometimes I need help too. You will notice every week I will need help with certain things around the school and I am looking for leaders and students that want to help make a positive impact on Oak Ridge Schools!

1. Cell Phones. Last semester went pretty smooth, so let's carry that into second semester. Please ensure you put your phone in the phone holder each hour in every classroom.
2. Respect. I want to make sure we are being respectful to our classmates and our teachers. Please step up and be a leader and ensure we are being respectful to everyone and ALL TIMES!

Seniors if you haven't already placed your graduation order please order online at www.thegraduationcenter.com or call Jostens directly at (573)546-7366 to place your order. No money is required to place the order via phone, balance will be due by March 1, 2024. Students if you call Jostens directly or order online, you will get your products faster.

Base Rock Minerals out of Fruitland donated the rock needed for our school landscape improvement projects! Thank you Base Rock Minerals for your support!

Oak Ridge High School is now officially registered for the Apprenticeship Program through The United States Department of Labor. This program will allow our students to get a jump start into career fields and trades while still being in high school. Their work hours will also go towards a work certificate that can be provided to them by the U.S. Department of Labor after 2000 hours of on the job learning/working. (While being paid!!) We look forward to expanding this program in the years to come! A huge SHOUTOUT to Mrs. Schroeder for all her handwork and effort to get us here! Thank you Mrs. Schroeder!
