NEWSLETTER | TERM 4| WEEK 3| 25 OCT 2024
Happy World Teacher's Day! ๐๐ We are incredibly fortunate to have so many amazing staff members who make our school a wonderful place to learn and grow. ๐ Donโt forget to fill out the online form and send a thank you to some of our brilliant teachers and staff! ๐
When we are at peace, when we are not fighting it, when we are not fixing and controlling this world, when we are not filled with anger, all we can do is start loving and forgiving.

Hi Everyone,
An amazing World Teachers Day Morning Tea on Wednesday, organised by the P&F. We are incredibly grateful to everyone involved. Thank you!!
Our brave and intrepid team threw everything at yesterdayโs interschool carnival and are to be congratulated. What an effort! Next week brings even more excitement: many students will participate in the Hale Connect Triathlon after school on Tuesday, and Friday will feature the Primary Champion Schools Triathlon. It is a big one with hundreds of children participating. We wish every child success on this big journey!
Our choir and dance group will be performing at the Wembley Downs District Fair on Saturday. We hope they have a wonderful and enjoyable day.
The 2025 Kindy and Pre-Kindy Parent Information Evening is on Tuesday, and we anticipate a big turnout. We look forward to welcoming them.
Have a lovely weekend,

CPSSA Athletics Carnival โ A Day to Remember
On October 24, the highly anticipated CPSSA Athletics Carnival took place at the State Athletics Stadium, where Holy Rosary students delivered an incredible performance. Our school finished 4th overall, with a special mention to the Girls squad who secured an impressive 3rd place. This is a magnificent effort given there are 16 schools in our association.
A big congratulations goes out to Aria, Grace, Emme, Frankie, and Ben, who each won individual awards for their outstanding personal achievements throughout the day. Their hard work, determination, and skill shone brightly in every event they participated in.
Weโd also like to acknowledge the entire Holy Rosary squad for their brilliant efforts, team spirit, and dedication. The day wouldnโt have been the success it was without their energy and commitment.
A special thanks to Mr Kinder, Mr DโAloia, Ms Rees and Mrs Milne, and all the supportive parents who spent the day cheering for the team. Your contributions played a huge part in making the day memorable for everyone.
Could I please ask all squad members to wash their running tops, place them in a plastic bag with their name on it and drop them into the office next week unless you are involved with triathlon, then please hold onto your tops until after next weekโs events.
Well done, Holy Rosary! Weโre incredibly proud of you all.

Sunflowers in Siena
Sunflowers in Siena! ๐ป๐ Our Siena students have been diving into the fascinating world of sunflowers, learning about their growth, life cycle, and all the sunshine they bring. What a bright way to learn! ๐ฑโจ
A gentle week in library focussing on reading, relaxing and enjoying the beautiful space. Congratulations to 1D for winning the Library Trophy, followed up the same day by 4D. Well done to both classes for remembering their library bags and books. Thank you to the parents who are helping their children find or replace library books. Unfortunately, as we start moving to the end of 2024, any overdue books will mean no borrowing. Please feel free to email me if you would like any more information. Hope you are enjoying the Christmas books! Have a lovely weekend.

World Teacher's Day
Hi families,
As part of World Teacher's Day we would love for families to take a moment to share an expression of gratitude for any of the staff that makes up our wonderful team. You would be amazed if you knew the powerful impact just a few kind words can have on the feelings of educators!
You might want to give a message of encouragement, you might like to say thank you for something small but meaningful, or maybe there is a former teacher of your child who you have always wanted to thank for something but just never had the opportunity.
You may even invite your child to write a few kind words of thanks to their teacher(s) too!
You can submit the form multiple times if you wish to thank multiple staff members.
Thank you!
