Dear Parents and Students,

Welcome back! I am thrilled to inform you about an exciting opportunity for select students who have a keen interest in technology.

DeVry University is offering a unique dual enrollment program called the Advantage Academy, designed for students who have an interest in technology and are eager to advance their skills. This program allows students to earn a Certificate in Programming Essentials; providing exposure to essential coding concepts and methods for building and testing applications using industry-recognized programming languages like Python.

Here are a few highlights of the Advantage Academy program:

• Dual Enrollment: Earn college credit while still in high school by taking college courses during your junior and senior years. Classes are held online in addition to your regular school day.

• No Tuition Costs for Qualifying Students: Tuition, books, and technology charges for all eligible courses are covered by DeVry University and the Georgia Finance Commission for qualifying students.

• Knowledgeable Instructors: All classes are taught by experienced DeVry professors.

• Personalized Support: Access to university services such as the Learning Commons, labs, tutoring, mentoring, and more.

• Real-World Skills: Learn skills needed to thrive in today’s tech-driven business world.

• Continuous Learning: Opportunity to continue education with transferable credits toward an associate or bachelor’s degree program at DeVry or to other four year universities that accept DeVry credits.
