We had a great start to the school year! Having all the students back and our hallways full of excitement was wonderful. Thank you to all our UPK parents and family as we worked through the kinks of our first few days of drop-off and pick-up. Your patience and grace has not gone unnoticed.

Next week our PTO will host it's first meeting of the year. They will meet on Wednesday, September, 11th at 6pm in the Wales Primary Cafeteria. Joining the PTO is great way to meet other parents and help support our school. If you want to help by volunteering as a lead room parent, we ask you to attend the meeting on Wednesday to get information.

As part of our safety plan we practice our drills. Per NYS we must have 8 fire drills per school year, 6 before 12/31 and 2 after. We also must conduct 4 lock down drills 2 each half of the school year. We will notify families when these are scheduled.

We hope that you have a restful weekend and we look forward to our first full week back in session.
