INTEGRITY - INNOVATION - LEADERSHIP - SERVICE - PERSEVERANCE - EXCELLENCE
EBA Student Spotlight
This student is capable of taking on every task that gets tossed their way (and there are many tasks that get tossed their way) with the utmost diligence and integrity. They are consistently striving for excellence in their academic and extracurricular endeavors, and they maintain a curiosity and interest in learning that is indicative of a driven and engaged student despite the inevitable obstacles that come with the rigor of advanced studies. On top of all of this, they also do surprisingly funny impressions of obscure celebrities and regional accents. Congrats to Skylar Burdette for receiving the EBA Student Spotlight Award. Given by her EBA H English 9 teacher Mr. Matthew Fugere #EBAProud

Term 1 (4x4 classes) and Semester 1 (A/B classes) Ending Soon!
The end of Term 2 (4x4 classes) and Semester 1 (A/B classes) is approaching quickly. The final day is January 26th though teachers may close their gradebooks prior to that date to ensure time for accurate grading. Students need to take time to ensure they are meeting academic expectations.
Students who fail an EBA specific class or a required academy course will be removed at the end of the Term/Semester and will be asked to enroll in their home school.
Students who fall below the 2.5 GPA threshold at the end of the term will be contacted and placed on an academic contract.
We encourage all students to use time wisely and ensure assignments are completed accurately, turned in on time and are their own work and not another persons or computer generated.

Requests for Reports
Students and parents can request these reports at anytime by emailing our Office Associate Ms. Vonetta Wilder - vonetta.wilder@vbschools.com
We will print reports one time a year in the Fall semester.
Please note that we do want STUDENTS to request their reports and advocate for themselves. This is an important skill that we are trying to teach them - on that same note, we will never turn them away from parents, if you want to request them, please know that you need to be a parent who is linked to the student Synergy page to request this information.
