Glenholme School Newsletter
Term 4 - Week 5, 18th November 2021
Principal Message
Thank you to all of our whanau who are being so supportive with the requirement to wear a mask when they enter the school grounds. I have been at the Ranolf Street entrance every morning this week and it is great to see our children giving parents a hug and kiss and then happily coming into school. Those parents who do need to come into school to settle their children are still able to do so, as long as they are going to sign in and wear a mask.
Please be mindful that these requirements are in place to keep your tamariki safe.
Congratulations to Tihiōtonga Team for the well run Athletics sports day which they were able to hold last Friday. Our teachers put in a great deal of effort and planning to ensure that the children in Tihiōtonga Team were able to participate in each event while still adhering to the current COVID restrictions in place at school. The tamariki had an enjoyable day and were able to use the skills they have learnt in the weeks of training for the event.
It is a signal that we are coming to the end of the year when we start looking at our final group of Principal Award winners and our last whole school assembly next week. We continue to have assembly via zoom. We look forward to the time when we will be able to invite parents to attend these events.
