Thank you for your time and engagement during our recent Parent-Teacher Conferences. Your thoughtful conversations and continued partnership are vital in supporting the success of our students. It’s always a pleasure to work together in ensuring that every child’s needs are met both academically and socially.
As we continue into the winter season, please keep an eye on the weather forecasts. While this winter has been unseasonably warm, temperatures can change quickly. Please send your child to school with appropriate winter gear so they can enjoy outdoor activities comfortably and safely.
Looking ahead, we’re excited about our Science Fair and Book Fair that will be held on February 21st! These events are wonderful opportunities for our students to showcase their creativity and love of learning, while also fostering a sense of community. We hope you can join us!
As we begin to look ahead to the 2025-2026 school year, we would love your help in promoting our school. If you know of a daycare or family that would like to learn more about Eugene Field A+, we would so appreciate you sharing either our promotional video or informational pamphlet (linked below) with them.

EFA+ PTA Information
The purpose of PTA is to make every child's potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children. At Eugene Field A+, the PTA is a collective of parents, teachers, and other interested parties who want to support and be involved in the education of our children.

Science Fair- Friday, February 21
The EFA+ Science Fair is just around the corner, and we’re excited to invite your child to participate in this educational event! It’s a wonderful opportunity for students to explore their scientific interests by researching a topic, inventing something new, or conducting an experiment to share their results with the school community.
Event Details:
Date of the Science Fair: Friday, February 21
Time: 6:30 – 7:30 PM
Setup Time: Participants may begin setting up their projects at 6:00 PM. Please do not arrive earlier, as the gym will be in use until then.
How to Participate:
Entry Forms: Students can submit their entry forms either online or on paper. Please submit only one form – either online using THIS link or on paper.
Deadline: Entry forms are due by Friday, February 7.
Packets about the science fair are being sent home with students today, but parents can also visit the Science Fair website for full details, including instructions, guidelines, and helpful resources. If you'd like to help volunteer for the event, you can sign up here.
EFA+ PTA
Congratulation Reflections Participants!
Congratulations to students who participated in the National PTA Reflections! Students were given the opportunity to create original works of art inspired by a student-chosen theme. Submissions included Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, and Visual Arts.
Through their involvement, students are able to explore their personal thoughts, emotions, and ideas while fostering artistic literacy, building self-confidence, and developing a deeper passion for learning.

Junior Achievement of South Dakota
We are grateful for the Junior Achievement volunteers who have been visiting our classrooms again this school year! By combining JA programming with their own personal and professional experiences, JA volunteers teach students about careers, money management, entrepreneurship, and ethics. They help students connect what they learn in school with the skills needed for success in both their personal and professional lives.
Junior Achievement (JA) gives students hope for a brighter future. This school year, nearly 2,000 JA volunteers are committed to teaching JA programs, empowering over 56,000 South Dakota students to pursue their dreams.
Please join us in thanking the volunteers and teachers listed below for their involvement in JA during the 2024-25 school year.
