NEW! Cyclical Process of Bilingual Exceptions & ESL Waivers
All LEAs that are required to implement a bilingual or ESL program and has insufficient number of appropriately certified teachers shall request an exception and/or waiver by November 1st using the agency’s TEAL Wavier Platform, as per TAC §89.1207.

Guidance to Remember:
- There were no changes to the 2023-2024 Title III Compliance Reports
- Any carryover from 2022-2023 that was expended during SY 2023-24, must be reported in the 2023-24 Compliance Report
- Any LEA who requested for their PS3114 to be opened for carryover, must complete their 2023-24 PR3114
- It is appropriate for an LEA to indicate “N/A” for any response that truly does not apply to them
- Both PR3002 and PR3114 are a part of the LEA’s Risk Assessment

Title III Engagement Series- Recordings
Join the TEA/EB Division by hosting watch parties for your parents, families, and community while they provide the experts and interpreters so that all attendees can learn and listen in their native languages.
These events will be conducted virtually over the Zoom platform and will be presented in English. Interpreters can be requested through the registration process. Please note only 8 languages other than English will be provided based on the registration requests.
