Check out our WHS Chromebook Distribution Resource Page. This resource has the instructions on how to compete the necessary steps for your student(s) to check out their WHS Chromebook for the school year. These steps MUST be completed for all WHS students (not just for Express Pick-Up).

Please update FinalForms for the 23-24 school year. All emergency medical and informational forms need to be completed by August 18th.

School Supplies 2023-24

Each class will have specific supplies which are needed, however we want to be sure students have the following supplies on the first day of school to begin the year in a successful direction.

• 2 sharpened pencils

• 2 blue OR black pens

• 1 2-pocket folder

• 1 spiral notebook OR loose-leaf paper

• Any Summer Reading required materials

• Headphones or Earbuds (will be available in the office for 50 cents)

• Water bottle for personal use

Backpack Reminder

• Students may use a backpack to carry books to and from school, but it must remain in the locker during the school day.

• Students will be allowed to carry an average-sized, CLEAR backpack during the day, or choose to carry their belongings.

• This is intended for individuals to carry school-approved and necessary personal items.

Student schedules will be mailed home the week of July 31st. If you have any questions or concerns about your student's schedule, please contact one of our guidance counselors.

One large focus this school year will be reducing distractions in the classroom, including cell phone use. At school, these devices can be extremely distracting during instruction and in the school environment. Classrooms are a red zone--phones should not be seen or heard. All students will need to have their cell phone put away during this time. We need your help with reminding students of appropriate use of personal devices in the building. Please limit communication with your child during school hours and especially class time. If you need to speak with your child, or get them a message, please call the front office at (937) 382-7716. We appreciate your support!

BUS

Please complete FinalForms to let our transportation department know if you child will be riding a bus. Information about pick up and drop off times will be consistent with last year. If there are any changes you will be contacted. Please reach out if you have any questions. (937) 382-2357

PICK UP/DROP OFF

If you pick up and/or drop off your child, please use Hurricane Alley by the MS and HS gyms. Below are some specific guidelines.

STUDENT DRIVERS

For students that drive to school, they must purchase a parking pass to park in the paved student lot. Passes will be available for purchase the first two weeks of school for $25. Students will receive a google form to fill out, so remind them to check their email. After September 4th, students without a permit will need to park in the gavel lot. If violations occur, the following may be a result: posted warning, ticket with fee, towing at owner's expense.

Students may choose to park without a permit in the gavel lot. No students are permitted to park in the staff lot.
