A Message from Principal Buchko
We’re excited to announce that Kindness Week is just around the corner! Starting next week, we’ll be celebrating the power of kindness and spreading positivity throughout our community. Let’s come together to make the world a little brighter, one kind act at a time!
As part of Kindness Week, we are thrilled to kick off our PTO Raise Craze Fundraiser – a fun and meaningful way to raise funds for our school while focusing on Acts of Kindness. Students and families can participate by completing acts of kindness both at school and at home, all while helping us reach our fundraising goal.
Here’s how it works:
- Sign up for the Raise Craze fundraiser.
- Complete Acts of Kindness (big or small!) and log them on your personal fundraising page.
- Share your page with family and friends to encourage donations in support of our school.
The more acts of kindness you complete, the more funds we raise for our school, all while creating a ripple effect of positivity. Every dollar raised will go towards enhancing our programs and creating new opportunities for our students.
We can’t wait to see the amazing acts of kindness you and your children will share with the world! Be on the lookout for an informational packet coming home in your student's backpack today! Let’s make Kindness Week a memorable one and show just how powerful kindness can be.
Help us reach our goal of $15,000!!!

Raise Craze Assembly: Spreading Acts of Kindness throughout the Community
Today, our MacArthur Student Council played a key role in promoting the PTO Raise Craze fundraiser by encouraging acts of kindness during our assembly. Students learned about the importance of kindness and were inspired to think about different ways they can spread kindness throughout the community. To reinforce this message, they also took part in reciting a kindness pledge, committing to make a positive impact with their actions. It was a wonderful way to connect the spirit of giving with the fundraiser’s goal of supporting our school!
