Little Lancer Lowdown

Dear Little Elba Lancer Families,

As we enter March, I hope that you and your family had a relaxing Presidents' Recess. One area we have been focusing on over the last few weeks has been cafeteria behavior, as we have observed an increase in inappropriate behavior in the cafeteria. By working together collectively to address appropriate cafeteria behavior, we will foster a more positive and respectful environment for all students. We kindly request your assistance in discussing appropriate cafeteria conduct with your child at home. Consider emphasizing the importance of treating the cafeteria as if it were a restaurant, where courtesy and respect are paramount. Encourage your child to be mindful of their language, table manners, and interactions with peers and cafeteria staff. Reinforcing these values at home will undoubtedly have a positive impact on their behavior in the school cafeteria. Below are the cafeteria expectations for your review with your child. Thank you for your support in fostering a positive school environment.

As a reminder, students should not be dropped off at school prior to 7:20am. Our doors will remain closed until this time as we cannot have students in the school unsupervised. Students are allowed to enter at 7:20 am for breakfast and/or must remain in the cafeteria until 7:35am when dismissed to classrooms.
