Message From the Principal
We are still working on expectations and getting back in the swing of things. Continue talking to your student about following school expectations, being responsible for their items, Chromebooks etc. and keeping their hands to themselves, as well as utilizing their lockers so they are not carrying everything in their backpack.
We have also completed our first round of Fastbridge benchmark assessments. We will be working to complete the CBM on students in reading to determine if interventions are needing.
At home continue to encourage reading and asking questions about what your child is reading. We will be digging into our new reading curriculum soon, this curriculum will really help us work on writing and comprehension with our students. In math encourage your children to work on their math facts, when they know these with automaticity it makes solving word problems a little easier and allows students to focus on the process for solving and setting up the problems correctly.
