FAC Visual Arts Holiday Sale - Volunteers Needed
The Holiday Sale is an annual tradition at the Fine Arts Center that allows Visual Arts students to learn entrepreneurship skills through art. Students use production principles to make the pieces, track their hours and materials, and determine wholesale prices for their work. Students earn 50% of the proceeds and the other 50% goes back to the student's Visual Arts studio.
We welcome parent volunteers from ALL disciplines, not just visual arts parents!! Each shift is only 40 minutes, so it's a great way to pitch in even if you have a busy schedule! The sale is open for three 30-minute time slots each day, and we've added 5 minutes to the beginning and end of each volunteer shift to allow for set-up and closing tasks. Feel free to sign up for multiple shifts! When you arrive at the FAC, sign in as a volunteer at the security desk, where you'll be given further instructions. Please check your email prior to your shift for any updates or special instructions.
