July is Park and Recreation Month in the City of West Allis!
Along with the National Recreation and Park Association, Mayor Dan Devine proclaimed that July is Park and Recreation Month in the City of West Allis! The 2024 theme for National Park and Recreation Month, “Where You Belong,” aligns with the way the WAWM RCS Department fosters a sense of belonging in West Allis and West Milwaukee by providing welcoming and inclusive programs, essential services for all ages and abilities, and safe and accessible spaces in an effort to build meaningful connections throughout the community for years to come. Thank you to Mayor Devine for recognizing the WAWM RCS Department as we aim to make West Allis and West Milwaukee a better, more enriching place to live, learn and play through the power of recreation.

Fees
Parents can pay school fees using Skyward! For checks or money orders: bring checks (payable to your child’s school) to the Main Office of your child’s school Monday through Friday during business hours.
Regardless of fee payment (this includes any parents applying for free/reduced meals, which can affect fees), students will get their school schedule when the online registration is submitted. School fees remain on Skyward - parents can pay them any time during the year!
School Schedules
During the summer, school schedules are not released until the Monday before school starts. During the school year, once online registration is submitted, families can view their child’s school schedule online.
PTA
Many of our schools have a PTA (Parent Teacher Association) or PTSA (Parent Teacher Student Association). These groups focus on community engagement and support of the programs within their school specifically. Joining the PTA/PTSA helps support our students, staff, and school community. Click HERE for more information.
We will be sending multiple emails regarding registration. If you’ve submitted your child’s registration and received additional emails, simply delete the email. (Do not unsubscribe.) Thank you!
