Principal Update
I hope this message finds you well as we kick off a great start to the new year! I want to remind everyone of some important upcoming dates:
- Monday, January 20th – No School (Holiday)
- Friday, January 31st – No School (Grade Day)

I would also like to take this opportunity to extend my heartfelt thanks to our amazing staff. Their dedication and creativity in providing fantastic enrichment and exploratory courses truly enhance our students' school experience. From hands-on activities to engaging lessons that spark curiosity, their hard work makes a meaningful impact on our students’ learning and growth.

Boys Wrestling
At the Oregon Wrestling Classic with the top 4A teams wrestling today and tomorrow
Meet is considered to identify the dual meet state champions
Looking forward to our league schedule and towards qualifying for the state tournament
Girls Wrestling
At the Oregon Wrestling Classic with the top 4A teams wrestling today and tomorrow

Girls Basketball
Opened league season with tough losses at Seaside (Fri) and hosting St. Helens (Tue)
Playing at Lower Columbia college Monday against Napavine (WA) - 3:30pm
Hosting Astoria Wednesday with a double-header with the boys - 7pm
Boys Basketball
Routed Seaside on the road (Fri) and pulled out a late win with St. Helens (Tue)
Traveling to Tillamook tonight to keep league winning streak alive
Hosting Astoria Wednesday at 5:30pm to keep in the league’s top spot
Swimming
Hosted Astoria in COWAPA dual on yesterday afternoon at Eisenschmidt

Victor Drumheller - 100 Breast
17 new personal records despite a large group battling sickness
Swimming will not be attending the Valley Catholic Invitational Saturday
Will host Seaside Tuesday at Eisenschmidt starting at 4:00pm

Senior Parents - Please fill out the google form so that we can keep you up to date with important Grad Party events.
DONATIONS
We are always looking for ways to raise funds and collect donations for our graduation events. If you are a business owner or know of one that is looking for a way to give back to the community, we would love to get connected. MONTHLY PLANNING MEETINGS
Our monthly meetings happen on the 4th Wednesday of the Month. Our next meeting will be Wednesday, January 22nd in the SHS conference room at 6:30. Please join us, there is something for everyone and we would love your help.
OTHER NEWS
If your senior has committed to a school, send us a brief write up with a picture and we’ll post it on our Instagram page.
Start digging into your photo albums in search of a cute baby pic of your senior. If you find one you like, email it to us! Make sure to put “2025 baby picture – FIRST & LAST NAME of senior” in the subject line.
