Principal's Update

We can not thank you enough for all you are doing at home to help us continue your child's education. Our teachers are working hard to create and implement exciting learning opportunities at each grade level. We continue to focus on meeting every students needs by providing mailed paper activities, electronic resources in Google Docs, and interactive meetings through zoom. We appreciate all you are doing at home to help make this a success. Below is a link to Harbor Springs Public Schools K-12 Learning Plan.

With the closing of the school buildings to students and staff, we have adjusted our procedures for alerting the IT department of any issues with school issued Macbooks or iPads. If there is something wrong with your iPad or Macbook, please send an email to help@harborps.on.spiceworks.com. This will put a ticket into our helpdesk system, and from there we will communicate arrangements for remote assistance, or if necessary, dropoff and pickup of technology.

TrueStream, powered by Great Lakes Energy, is offering FREE Wi-Fi access in several locations in Emmet and Charlevoix counties to help enable online learning for students, while maintaining social distancing from the comfort of your vehicle. TrueStream has worked to establish the Wi-Fi zones and has three currently active, with four more expected to be live by the end of this week and next. Details about the sites and how to log-in are included in the accompanying flyer. Please note when logging in that these spots do not provide secure Wi-Fi connection and are not password-activated; use caution in sharing any sensitive information while using these free connection sites.
