It Says, I Say, and So
Do we need to get healthy?
Canadian Teen Obesity
It says that the health committee fears that "today's children will be the first generation for some time to have poorer health outcomes and a shorter life expectancy than their parents."
I think that it is very possible for children to be unhealthier than their parents, and there are many reasons why, the main reason being technology making kids lazier.
So I think that parents have to be more strict about technology. They should only let their kids use their phones or watch TV for a certain amount of time, then encourage them to get some fresh air at the park or with their friends. Even just making them walk instead of dropping them off in their cars can make a difference. The kids might get upset about it, but they will be thankful in the future once they realize how important it is to get moving.
