Thursday/ Friday:

• Attendance will be taken
• Attendance credited by one of the following:
• Student participation in Office Hours – Not required but highly encouraged for students. Stay connected with your teachers! Get questions answered. Easy check in for attendance.
• Email communication with teachers
• Students submit missing assignments
• Some teachers may post a question for students to answer to count as attendance.
• If students do any of the above, they earn positive attendance for the day.

Week 1 Jan. 18 – Jan. 21:

• No school on Monday (Dr. Martin Luther King Day)
• Regular bell schedule
• All teachers will post asynchronous activity/assignment (Asynchronous means students complete on their own time, not live on Zoom during class period)
• Zoom office hours for the first 30 minutes of each class period - Optional for students but highly encouraged as a way to stay engaged with their teachers, get questions answered and get marked for attendance.
• Attendance will be taken each day - Participate in Office Hours or submit assignment or email teacher to get positive attendance each period.

Week 2 Jan. 24-27:

• We will follow the Finals Bell schedule (below)
• We are not having traditional finals
• Teachers will be offering alternative assignments or projects depending on the content area and class.
• Teacher Review and Study Sessions will be available via Zoom during the scheduled time
• Synchronous Zoom Check In - First 30 minutes of each class
• All students log in to the teacher's Zoom link and teachers will clarify instructions for their assignment/project/activity. Students can ask questions, attendance will be taken, then teachers release students to work on their own.
• Students complete assignment asynchronously
• If a student could not attend the Zoom check in, submission of the assignment or email communication can be used for attendance purposes.

Any student that does not have a device or internet connectivity can still come to campus from 1/13-1/27 to use the computers in the Library or our computer labs.

-Buses will continue to run with their normal routes and times

-Cafeteria will continue to serve Breakfast and Lunch

-Surveys went out to families yesterday, timely response is needed.

-If you didn't get a survey, please check your Spam folder and then call the front office, 541-482-8771.

-If you indicate that your student needs a device, you will be contacted for a time to come to the school to get it. We cannot accept drop ins for device pick up.

We have been getting some calls about students unable to log into Canvas. The most common mistake is mixing up their PowerSchool username with their Canvas log in.

PowerSchool Username: first.last

Canvas log in: first.last@asdconnect.org

The passwords are the same for each. Hope that helps. If you still get stuck, please call the office.
