Connected Ed Scavenger Hunt
December 15th Week 3
Just like: "If you build it, he WILL come", "If you create it, they WILL learn"!
Welcome to week 3 of the Connected Ed Scavenger Hunt. I am so glad you are participating. The points are adding up! This week we will get to CREATE. Create things you can actually use in your classroom or in your job. Let's go CREATE!
**If you are just now joining the fun, please look back at Week 1 Newsletter. YOU MUST START AT #1, then continue where you wish from there.
Sign up for PBS Learning Media
PBS has a ton of resources available. Create an account and screen shot proof to the Google Classroom
Create a PLICKERS lesson
Join Plickers, teach a lesson using Plickers as the assessment tool. Take a picture of the Students (you can use side or back picture, if you chose to not show student faces) in your classroom using PLICKERS. Upload the picture to Twitter. Also: Include the hashtag #connectededcisd and post in the Google Classroom for credit. If you do not have a class: Create a TACKK newsletter on how to create a PLICKERS lesson. You can research online how to do so and share your expertise. You will also need to Tweet about it and share in Google Classroom.
Create a Jeopardy-Style Lesson using Google Sheets
Visit this website to learn how to make the lesson. When you have a completed lesson, share the lesson you made in Google with me. Also, post in the Google Classroom the title of your lesson. If you do not have a class, create an ALL ABOUT ME biography using Google Sheets. Share the lesson with your IT via Google and post in the Google Classroom.
Visit the Instructional Technology Website for CISD
Share in the Google Classroom 5 things you learned or liked on the site. There are multiple pages, you can pick from any page.
Create a Lino It Wall
Sign up at Lino It using your Google account. After you have an account created, create a wall. On the wall use stickies to describe various tasks you have done. Explain how you could incorporate into the classroom or your job. Screenshot the Wall to the Google Classroom.
Create an Educreation
Create an Educreation account if you don't have one. Next, Create an Educreation that you could use with your class (or just for fun if you don't have an a class). Share the lesson with me via a post in the Google Classroom. (You can use an iPad or computer for this task.)
