Happy December!

Can you believe we are 3 months into the 2024-2025 school year? December is here and with it comes a Buffalo winter! In addition to entering this snowy time of year, it also means we are into our second trimester. We want to thank each family who will be able to connect with teachers during our parent teacher conferences this week, Thursday and Friday. What a great time to talk about growth, setting goals, and sharing about the wonderful things that your children do each day here at Fricano!

As a reminder, please make sure your child is dressed for the weather, especially as we see some cold winter temperatures and snow!

If you come in to volunteer, please have your ID out and ready to be checked before entering the building.

Please make sure you have made an account to log onto the ESchool Parent Portal. Your child's report card will only be accessible by the Portal as we no longer send home paper copies.

All visitors entering the building (to pick a child up early, to volunteer, or coming in for a meeting) need to have their Photo ID readily available to be scanned into our visitor system. Please ensure you have your ID on you when you come to Fricano and it is not left at home!

We need help in our cafeteria!

Make sure to check out the PTA's sign up for our Helping Hands program. This is a great opportunity to get involved and join in your child's school day through our lunch room. The purpose of Helping Hands is to help ALL Fricano students by assisting in the cafeteria by opening various items, wiping down tables, and getting utensils. Sign up for the PTA if you would like to volunteer! PTA SIGN UP HERE.

During winter break we will be donating items that haven't been claimed. Please have your child pick up any item that is theirs in our front vestibule before our winter break!
