Spotlight On: Music

If your student might join 4/5 Choir, 5th Band, MS Band, or MS Choir/Sound Bearriers this year, family attendance at one of our Music Family Meetings on BTS Night is required:

♫5:30-6:00, for those whose classroom presentations begin at 6:05

♫6:05-6:35, for those whose classroom presentations begin at 5:30 or 6:40

Because these classes will add events to your family's calendar, a start-of-the-year meeting will help us set up great communication for the whole year! Come and learn what your musician will be doing, and how we can work together to make the best possible program for our kids!

Digital Registration Forms (all online) are required for participation,
and all info on how to find and complete these forms will be shared in our Family Meetings.

BUT YOUR STUDENT STILL WANTS TO PARTICIPATE

We are excited to offer General Music to 3rd-5th Graders at Boulder Creek this year! Our younger students will begin their journey in the Music Room with weekly lessons that include xylophones, recorders and boomwhackers, and learning to sing in harmony, all while exploring amazing stories from music history. Many thanks to the BC administration and staff for making time to enrich our students' educational lives in this way.

Since Monday, August 16, 2021, all Jr. High students have been attending General Music classes during the PE/Music period, once every 3 weeks. Beginning with the second rotation (starting 9/7/21), if your student misses class, s/he will find make-up work on the Classwork tab of our Google Classroom.
