What are the skills of highly effective mentors and how do you sustain a structure for a successful mentoring program? Join the Greater Rochester Teacher Center Network and the Genesee Valley ASCD for a hybrid event. Laura Lipton will share insights and best practices for your school district to have a highly successful mentor program. You will also engage in a panel discussion with area districts to learn best practices in mentoring. Refreshments and a copy of the book Mentoring Matters will be provided.

This program is for teachers interested in mentoring, administrators, mentor coordinators, or any new or experienced mentor interested in understanding the power of learning-focused relationships and its impact on school culture. This session is a deep dive into best practices of mentoring using resources from Mentoring Matters. Participants will learn from other districts as well as participate in a hybrid program with Laura Lipton. Lunch and a copy of the book Mentoring Matters will be provided.
