Pine Creek Polling Station on May 14
On Tuesday, May 14th, Pine Creek's gym will serve as a polling place. Due to this, school doors between the gym and the rest of the building will be locked. Please note that there will be increased traffic around the school, and we kindly ask for your cooperation in ensuring the safety and well-being of our students.
Field Day Information- Friday, May 17
We will plan to begin rotations at 9:00 am. Schedules and maps are attached for your review.
A few notes:
Some events, like class lunch, will be held indoors. Students will come into the classroom with their teachers and eat in their classrooms, using this time to cool down, unwind, and recharge for the second part of the day. This will be a good time for parents to run home, enjoy lunch, cool down in the air conditioning, shop at the book fair and return for the afternoon events. Parents and families will not be joining students in their classrooms for lunch.
To maintain active supervision and ensure accountability for all students, classroom teachers have been asked to prioritize classwide restroom and drink breaks throughout the day. A restroom and water filling station for parents and siblings will be available and accessible through the main entrances on the East and West side of the school.
If you wish to leave with your child at the conclusion of the field events, please make sure to sign your student out with their classroom teacher. Students missing more than the last 20 minutes of the day will be counted as absent for the missed minutes.
Please remember to send your child with sunscreen and a water bottle for use throughout the day.
In accordance with school district policy, NO PETS should accompany you to field day.
As the school year comes to a close, we would like to acknowledge the staff who are transitioning to other positions and extend a warm welcome to those who will be joining us in their place.
Last Friday we celebrated our Nutrition Services Staff
