At Y.E.S., report cards are distributed after the end of each semester. The report cards for the 1st Semester will be given to your student on January 10th

The Lost and Found is full! If your child is missing anything, please have them check the lost and found. It is starting to get colder out and we have many coats, gloves, and hats! After the first semester, the lost and found will be cleaned out and items will be donated.

Reminder, the school doors will not open until 7:30 a.m.

As the weather changes, please make sure to send students with heavier coats, hats, and gloves. We will continue to walk outside in the morning and have recess outside if the 'feel like' temperature is above 10 degrees.

“When a whole school reads a book, there's a lot to talk about." With your help, we can build a community of readers at our school. The One School One Book program will take place at Y.E.S. Students will be reading the book at school with their peers. Look for more information in January!

On Friday, December 13th, Dr. Miles Berg and Dental Hygienist Ashley Prochaska from York Dental Associates and Dr. Bailey Neville from Countryside Pediatric Dentistry will be volunteering to complete dental screenings for children in Kindergarten through 4th grade. If a student does not meet the screening guidelines set forth by the state, a letter recommending further evaluation will be sent to the parent/guardian. If you have concerns regarding your child’s dental health, please follow up with a Dentist even if you do not receive a letter of referral. If you do not want your child to participate in screening, please contact the School Nurse.
