Nurse Notes
Regardless of the grade, accidents happen during the day: milk spilling at lunch, mud/wet conditions on the playground, toileting accidents, etc. Please pack an extra change of clothes in your child’s backpacks for these unexpected mishaps. If your child does need to borrow any clothes from the clinic, please launder and return to the clinic as soon as possible.
The clinic could use pants for both boys and girls. Any donation would be much appreciated.
Thank you!
Nurse Jenny
Counselor's Corner
Dear HPE families,
Happy New Year! I hope this message finds you and your family rested, recharged, and ready to embark on another wonderful chapter of the school year. The start of a new year is always an exciting time, full of possibilities, fresh starts, and opportunities for growth—not just for our students but for our school community as a whole.
As the school counselor, my goal continues to be fostering a supportive and nurturing environment where all students feel safe, valued, and empowered to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. I am here to support students in navigating challenges, building strong relationships, and developing skills that will help them thrive both inside and outside of the classroom.
This semester, I am looking forward to providing even more tools and resources to help students grow. These include:
- Classroom lessons on topics like conflict resolution, managing stress, and developing healthy friendships.
- Small group counseling opportunities for students who may benefit from focused support in areas such as self-confidence, managing emotions, or social skills.
- Individual check-ins for any student who needs one-on-one support or a listening ear.
As always, I value the partnership between home and school in supporting each child’s well-being. If you have any questions, concerns, or insights about how I can better support your child, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me. Your input is essential, and together, we can ensure every child feels supported and encouraged in their journey.
Let’s make 2025 a year of growth, learning, and success for all!
Warm regards,
Mrs. Williams

Transportation Change During the Day
Occasionally, parents must make unplanned transportation changes during the school day. All telephone calls must be received by 12:00 pm.
