π Student ID Badges π
Mesa Public Schools has implemented a new protocol at the beginning of the school year requiring all students to wear their school identification badge visibly at all times while on school grounds. This policy is designed to enhance safe and caring learning environments by ensuring the visible identification of students.
ID Badge Requirements:
- All students must wear their school ID visibly on a lanyard around their neck or securely clipped to a pocket.
- Breakaway lanyards will be provided to ensure safety.
- Replacement IDs will be available for purchase if lost or damaged and should be issued within 24 hours.
What happens if a student comes to school without a badge?
- Students are entitled to three free ID replacements.
- After the third free replacement, students who lose their badges and fail to pay the $3.00 replacement fee will have the fine added to their account. Families will be notified via email when a fine is assessed.
- Please note that failing to wear your ID is considered a Level 1 violation of the student code of conduct.
To avoid forgetting or losing your badge, we recommend establishing a consistent routine. For example, place your ID in the same spot daily after school, such as the front or side pocket of your backpack.
Thank you for your cooperation in helping us maintain a safe and secure learning environment.

π₯A Message from the Cafeteria π
Field Elementary participates in the Community Eligibility Program, meaning all students at approved schools qualify for free breakfast and lunch every school day. However, students who would like a second meal must pay for it. The price for a second breakfast is $1.50, and a second lunch is $2.25.
You can add funds to your studentβs online LINQ Connect account at LINQ Connect or by sending a check or cash to the cafeteria.
