The Southern, Middle and New England Colonies
What you need to know...
As a result of climate, the British colonies grew into 3 distinct regions we call the New England, Middle, and Southern colonies. Their economies, cultures and ways of life are closely linked to their environment. Though, colonists believed themselves to be British subjects, different movements such as the Enlightenment and the Great Awakening were slowly changing the way colonists thought and behaved.
- You should be able to identify the geographical features, colonies and territories of colonial America.
- You should be able to describe the social, political and economic systems of the three regions in the British colonies.
- You should be able to describe Triangular Trade and mercantilism.
- You should be able to evaluate how much of an impact the Enlightenment and Great Awakening had on the desire for independence.

Create a Google Slides project which presents all the information included on the colonial regions powerpoint presentation without using any words at all except for New England, Middle Colonies, and Southern Colonies.
