Animal Wax Museum
Our 2nd grade students recently took part in an exciting and creative project that brought the animal kingdom to life! They transformed into their favorite animals and set up a fantastic "wax museum" in the classroom. Dressed in costume and standing proudly beside their presentation boards, each student was ready to share fascinating facts about their animal at the push of a button. It was an interactive and fun way for them to engage with science, showcase their knowledge, and practice public speaking. A huge congratulations to our talented students for such a memorable and educational experience!

Helping Your Child Prepare for State Testing
State testing season is upon us. State testing is an important time for students, providing a chance to show what they’ve learned throughout the year. While these tests can sometimes feel overwhelming, a little preparation can help your child feel confident and ready to do their best.
How to Support Your Child on Test Day:
Watch for Important Email Updates- Teachers and principals send emails with your students testing dates.
Get a Good Night’s Sleep – A well-rested brain performs better! Aim for at least 8–10 hours of sleep the night before the test.
Eat a Healthy Breakfast – A nutritious meal will keep energy levels steady and help with focus.
Arrive on Time – Being rushed can add unnecessary stress. Plan ahead to ensure your child gets to school with time to settle in before testing begins.
Encourage a Positive Mindset – Remind your child that tests are just one way to show what they know. A calm, confident attitude can go a long way.
With these simple steps, you can help your child approach state testing with confidence and focus. Thank you for supporting their success!

6th Grade Cell Projects:
In 6th grade science, students have been exploring "The Cell" and the organelles that make up plant and animal cells. As part of their study, each student created a 3D representation of their chosen cell, bringing the microscopic world to life. The projects were absolutely fantastic—great work, 6th grade! Keep up the amazing effort!
7th Grade Ecology Unit:
The 7th grade students have just wrapped up their Ecology Unit with fantastic results! Each student researched a biome or Florida ecosystem of their choosing, diving deep into the unique characteristics and features of their selected environments. The final projects were wonderfully creative, showcasing not only their research skills but also their passion for the natural world. Well done, 7th grade!
