News from the Pirate Ship

Dear Pirate Families,

Second Quarter is now underway! Clubs and student organizations are meeting, and winter sports' tryouts will begin soon. Now is a great time for your Pirate to get onboard and involved!

Remember, report cards will go home on Tuesday and every student will receive a printed report card. Please review your child's report card carefully and reach out to your child's teachers and counselor with questions.

We will be on our Pirate Time bell schedule this week except for Tuesday. On Tuesday, we will have a large group of students taking the PSAT and we will operate on a regular bell schedule.

The CHHS Parent Advisory Council is now accepting applications for two vacants seats. Please see information below for more information.

Clubs are now meeting daily during Pirate Time. We encourage all students to get involved in at least one club or student organization.

The Women's Flag Football Team traveled to South Garner Wednesday, October 23 afternoon to take on a talented and experienced Willow Spring Lady Storm Team and came up on the short end of a 32-8 defeat. The loss dropped the Lady Pirates' overall record to 3-1 and 1-1 in the Greater Neuse River Conference. The Team will play host to the other 7 Conference Teams in Pirate Stadium Monday, October 28 at 7:00 PM for its only true home game of their Season against Cleveland High School. The Team will also recognize its 6 Seniors during the game. Hope to see you there!
