Senior Counseling Corner
Brighton High School Counseling Office

Seniors,
We hope that you were able to recharge last week with friends and family. Just a few more weeks to go before the winter break- where are you at with your future plans?
BE SURE TO HAND IN ANY LINGERING APPLICATIONS DUE IN JANUARY! This allows us enough time to get all materials from our office out to colleges/jobs before the winter break. So, if you're still working on your plans, see your School Counselor or Mrs. Stern!
- We only send 1st quarter grades to colleges IF REQUESTED. Please see the Registrar's office if a college is requesting your 1st quarter grades. They typically reach out to you directly for this request so check your emails!
- If you applied Early Decision- Please see the registrars about your Regular Decision applications. You can wait to submit any RD applications until you have your answer from the ED college. Just have them all ready to go just in case.
- If you are looking into options other than college after graduation, please connect with your counselor or Mrs. Stern to help you get on track with those plans. Although they may not have applications due in the near future, it's a great idea to get your ducks in a row and do as much research as possible so you are ready to make moves when you need to.
As always, please come see us if you need anything.
Best,
BHS Counseling Office
