RSU 57 & Massabesic High School
"Preparing students for success in an ever-changing world."
Hello Mustang Nation,
Congratulations to you all as we enter our final week (a quick two and a half days) of the 2023-2024 school year. We have surely covered a lot of ground this year, and I hope each of you our proud of the work you have put in to make your school year successful.
Our final day, Wednesday, is an early release of 11:00 AM at the High School & Middle School, with Elementary Schools dismissing at 12:00 pm. We have a special day planned for Wednesday morning with an agenda of the day posted below (Last Day of School Student Send-Off Schedule).
Our summer schedule is fluid and although we strive to have the office open as much as possible, the best way to reach our administrative team is via email throughout the next ten weeks.
Take care,
-Mr. Thurlow

Bennett Gibson Representing MHS at Dirigo State
Massabesic High School is pleased to share that grade 11 student, Bennett Gibson will attend Dirigo State, June 16-21, 2024, on the Colby College Campus in Waterville, ME. Formerly Boys and Girls State, this co-educational event is designed after the Maine State government. Participants will create their own town, county, and state governing bodies, learning how governments function and operate - as well as experience a week living in a dorm and eating in a college cafeteria. Please join MHS in thanking the American Legion Brown Emmons Post 134 in Alfred for generously sponsoring Bennett's participation in this year's Dirigo State Program.
